We don’t get anywhere in life just sitting on our hands and complaining about how difficult it is or how unfair of a hand we were just dealt. It does you no good to focus on what you didn’t do or to regret past choices. Quit living in the past.
Should have, Could have and Would have doesn’t have to be your MO.

If you have neglected to do something in your past that you now regret, start making that activity that you wish you would’ve taken back then, a part of your today. Do it!!
Most of life is not determined by what happens to us but rather by how we react to what happens to us. If we allow excuses to be justified in our minds, then we’re actually granting ourselves permission to accept our circumstances. I see this quite often in working with clients. So many have given themselves permission to accept their own excuses. It doesn’t have to be that way. You’re the only one allowing it to remain that way.
Why is it so difficult to accept that we may be the very thing keeping us from what we want?
We each build the perfect machine to continue to get exactly what we are getting out of life.
Consider that for a minute….. The way you do things and have always done things has over time built the model that produces the outcomes you are currently experiencing.
And to expect anything different from that machine would be crazy. If fact, it’s been said that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again, yet expect a different outcome each time.
So make an effort to start identifying areas that may be keeping you from your goals and dreams. Recognize those things that you continually do and determine whether or not you should continue to do them. Start stacking the odds in your favor.
If your machine isn’t giving you the results you want, break it till it does.
You have the right to change your life, but do you really have the desire?
Go plant a tree already.
